Céline Staelens obtained her bachelor's degree in banking, stock exchange and finance at the Hogeschool Gent. Initially, she worked for several years in banking under various fields. In 2006, Céline was appointed director of Pomecon, after starting it with her husband Frederick Pollet.

She has a practical attitude and is efficient, communicative and enterprising.
